I’m delighted to report that on Friday, our Pay Per Click Advertising Executive, Katie Saxon, passed the Microsoft Advertising Accreditation Exam, making Boom a Microsoft Advertising Accredited Professional company, the first in Nottingham and one of only 72 in the country. Congratulations Katie, well done!
We asked Katie to do this as Microsoft adCenter (Americanism deliberate!) is increasingly important to our clients and shows a consistently better return on investment than Google AdWords, albeit with much smaller volumes of traffic. Its importance in the UK has grown this month, with the integration of Yahoo Search Marketing with adCenter, creating a single platform for PPC ads on Yahoo UK and Bing. This means that the volume of traffic available from adCenter has grown, whilst the management overheads of running ads on “the other two” search engines are now much lower (and nicer – Yahoo had become a very creaking ad platform!)
