Hi, I’m Martin Baxter,
PPC Account Manager
Martin Baxter works with clients to build, implement, and optimise glorious digital marketing campaigns primarily using the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) services Google Ads and Bing Ads, as well as programmatic and social media platforms. He helps businesses deliver their strategic objectives and targets whilst driving them to ultimate victory.
Turning insights into action since 2012 – Martin Baxter uses Google Analytics to get stronger results from all clients’ channels by turning the customer insights it provides into tangible gains.
Considered a power user of Excel, Martin Baxter is also pretty good with Sheets and is known to use SQL databases. He uses these tools to parse, filter and mine data sets and create engaging visualisations and reports.
Born with a single-minded determination and a will to succeed under any circumstances. If things get difficult or unpleasant for Martin Baxter he might take a little rest or even a sleep but he’ll be back on the job harder than ever when he wakes up, within 72 hours.
Martin Baxter has been working in digital since 2012, including 5 years with Boom. Previously he worked for a lead generator and affiliate advertiser, a global disaster charity, and an international distributor of electronics.
With Boom, he has made money for clients selling pens, flowers, meat, underwear and chocolate pizza, as well as doors and many, many more through the power of PPC.
He’s really found a career in PPC that lends itself to his natural strengths as a data-driven insight led individual – as the vast array of information accrued by his clients’ accounts means that he can easily segment and assess PPC performance and make improvements which deliver massive gains.
Affable, charming, dry-witted, visionary and inspirational. Just some of the words that could be used to describe Martin Baxter. But usually aren’t.
When he’s not in action as a PPC ninja, Martin can be found eating his dinner or sleeping. When not sustaining his life force in this way he enjoys riding bicycles, preferably through dark, wet, wooded areas. He’s also lived a life of exhilaration, of dubious virtue, commanded armies and conquered worlds via various video games over the years.
And likes making pizza and reviewing beers, ciders, wines and spirits.
