Hi, I’m Amy Hunt,
Digital Marketing Client Manager
I’m responsible for devising creative and engaging content across a diverse and sometimes challenging range of subjects. This means I get to create blog posts, hub content and location copy for a variety of different clients... it certainly helps to be inquisitive!
I have a huge interest in social media marketing and work mainly on Facebook, this involves creating social media plans and scheduling campaigns for our clients as well as our own pages.
One of my responsibilities is devising, proofing, scheduling and delivering email marketing campaigns for our clients. I also work on the email marketing for our own eCommerce venture, The Coffee Tasting Club.
Utilising my past skills in business development and customer service, I work on outreach projects interacting with potential and existing link building partners and maintaining those relationships to further SEO efforts for our clients.
Having worked in a sales and marketing environment for over 10 years now, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get involved in many areas of business. Having started in B2B business development for a printing company, I was also able to use my creative background to devise email campaigns and design imagery for both internal and external marketing use.
From there, I moved into a more web based role working for an online retailer where I developed my skills both in website management and SEO. I was solely responsible for creating credible written content, promoting new products and offers as well as ensuring successful day to day running of the busy website, eBay and Amazon stores.
Now at Boom, I have developed my skills even further and so far I couldn’t be happier!
I am a huge animal lover and I have a dog called Wren and two cats, Oscar and Kiwi. I’ve told myself I’m not allowed anymore, but we shall see!
I’m also an avid fan of arts and crafts such as jewellery making, textile design and drawing. You’ll often find me rooting through old jewellery in charity shops to see what funky beads I can find. As well as crafts, I have a real penchant for vintage and antique ephemera, furniture and fabrics… there’s something just so fascinating about them! I’m also a big film lover, particularly indie stuff. I enjoy good food and any opportunity to meet with friends over decent Thai grub is a winner for me.
