About me
My Experience

I began my digital marketing career in 2005 with Beads Direct, an e-commerce company based in Loughborough. I was their first full-time employee so took the reigns of growing the online company through digital marketing, using PPC, SEO, email, social media and content strategies.

 

Over my time there I built a small marketing team who focused on improving website functionality and SEO, website content and photography, offline design to support online sales as well as building an active social community on Facebook and YouTube.

 

I joined Boom in 2014 to specialise in SEO, an area I’d always had a keen interest in. I now focus on growing organic traffic and revenue, and my varied client portfolio includes both B2B and B2C companies. Working across technical, on and off page strategies I have been able to achieve some exciting results during my time at Boom. I also manage more varied marketing activities for the Coffee Tasting Club, Boom’s own eCommerce start-up.

My Interests

I’m organised yet creative, which is why I love being a client manager at Boom. I’ve always loved making things so outside work I create my own jewellery, some of which has even been featured in magazines.

 

I enjoy long walks with my dogs Maggie & Lola, as well as swimming and reading. I also enjoy a bit of upcycling, and recently tested my creative skills by transforming some tired, old furniture into something I absolutely love!
