With our continued growth, we recently welcomed Cara to the team, our brand new Digital PR Specialist! Cara is full to the brim with PR and outreach knowledge and we couldn’t be happier to have her join the fold. We’re really excited to take further steps down the digital PR route and we’re even more excited that Cara is going to be a part of it.
While completing her degree in Broadcast Journalism at Nottingham Trent University, Cara did her first work placement in PR, working for a small boutique in Derby. It was during this placement that she discovered her love for content creation and being on the other side of journalism.
After graduating, Cara went on to work for another firm in Derby. Here, she specialised in more traditional PR primarily within the East Midlands before her transition into digital. Since making the switch, she has managed and created link building campaigns, content creation, awards and outreach strategies.
Cara has generated national and trade coverage for a diverse portfolio of clients from a host of sectors including manufacturing, education and health.
This is what Cara had to say about joining the team: “Having worked at both traditional and digital agencies in the past, I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in with new, exciting challenges at Boom. Working with such a creative agency who aren’t afraid to take risks will surely help to push and expand my skill set within PR. I’m really pleased to be part of the team!”
Ian, our Director said: “We’re really pleased to have Cara join Boom, it was immediately clear when we met her that she has digital PR nailed and a great attitude and personality to match. Cara’s skills mean we can expand our activities on the PR side both for link acquisition and more traditional business exposure for our clients and ourselves”.
