Hi, I’m Robert Deans,
Understanding your customer, their mind-set and what gives them confidence to buy, gives you the best chance of presenting your message in a way they can relate to. I can help take your site in the right direction – getting more value from your current visitors.
Having set up and grown our own ecommerce site, I have a great understanding of all aspects of running and marketing an ecommerce business. Our first-hand experience really helps us understand ecommerce and the challenges that your business faces.
You know where you want to be but don’t know how to get there! With many years’ experience of strategic planning, the Boom team and I can help give you clarity on the best way to reach your end goals.
Sometimes you don’t always need our full service and would just welcome our advice and thoughts. That’s fine, we’d love to help in any way we can. I can help you with the advice you need or put you in contact with the right team member to assist.
We set up Boom in 2010 and have never looked back. Prior to that, my background was in Internet Marketing with a strong emphasis on e-commerce and Conversation Rate Optimisation. If we were to be considered as market leaders, we figured that a good approach would be to practice what we preach, so these days I look after Boom’s sideline projects. With an intrinsic understanding of e-commerce, it was only natural that we set up our own e-commerce offering.
Our flagship Coffee Tasting Club is where I spend most of my time. The great thing about it is that we get to use it as a testing ground for all things new and exciting, before passing our experience to our customers.
In setting up the Coffee Tasting Club I’ve become a coffee monster. 3 years ago I didn’t even like coffee, now I can’t get enough of the stuff. When I’m not absorbing myself in all things coffee, I like to play a bit of squash or go walking in the Peak District. If I ‘m feeling really brave, I dust off my mountain bike and hit the trails.
In the summer I’ve been known to spend hours on end in the garden smoking ribs and I love anything associated with good food and drink. My real soft spot has to be red wine and a nice block of cheese.
I read quite a bit when I get a chance and love a good crime thriller, especially Sherlock Holmes.
