I’ll research keywords and phrases your customers are using and use this information to optimise key pages of your site for search. I’ll rewrite title tags, overhaul your copy, and create meta descriptions that will stand out in the SERPs and entice users to click.
As a new client one of the first tasks I’ll complete is a full technical audit of your site in order to identify issues that could be holding you back in the SERPs. I’ll explain what the problems are, why they’re important, and what needs to be actioned in order to fix them. Where possible I’ll make changes to your site myself, or if needed work on implementing fixes alongside you and your developers.
I’ll collaborate with the Boom team to generate ideas for content that we’ll research, create, and use to drive high-quality traffic and links to your site. I have a great track record of creating content that delivers a healthy ROI for my clients – whether that's content hubs or content for link acquisition.
Since joining Boom I have developed a keen interest in the social side of online marketing. I have an in depth knowledge of social platforms and can make sure your social channels are filled with exciting content. If you prefer to manage your social media channels yourself I can also deliver social media training for you or your team.
I was initially introduced to SEO in 2008, when my graduation from Uni was followed by a short stint at an agency in the North of Nottingham. That was where I met and worked with Rob; you may know him as one of Boom’s founding directors. After a few years away from the industry, Rob called me out of the blue. He was in the process of getting Boom off the ground (alongside Ian) and asked if I was interested in doing some freelance writing work – I was. This turned into a full-time, in-house role when Boom opened the doors to their first office.
In the years since I have worked alongside most of our SEO clients in some capacity and I currently manage a varied selection of clients in both B2C and B2B industries.
Outside of work I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with food, wine, and following the sun to hotter climes. I also try to learn Spanish. No soy muy buena.
