Boom Welcomes New Digital Marketing Executive: Meet Amy!

Recently the Boom team has been growing! We’re really pleased to welcome our new Digital Marketing Executive, Amy Hunt. She’s settled in quickly and is already playing a key role at Boom, helping to organise the office admin as well as carrying out digital marketing work for our varied client portfolio.

Amy has worked in sales and marketing since leaving University in 2007, working in business development for an international printing company led her to develop a keen interest in SEO and email marketing. With a strong sales and account management background, Amy moved into a more internet biased role to indulge her curiosities and to develop her online marketing skills further, writing copy and website content to increase brand awareness and developing relationships through social media. Amys keen interest in digital design also allowed her to work on visual promotions and email marketing campaigns.

During this time, Amy also ran her own craft supplies business, primarily using social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to build traffic to the website, drive sales and stay in touch with her regular customers.

Amy says: “I’ve always had a huge interest in marketing and throughout my working life, I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to learn small amounts about SEO and content marketing. This is something I really wanted to build on and I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity to join Boom Online. Boom’s reputation within the marketing industry is insurmountable, so to be able to join the team and learn from some of the best is a dream come true. They have a really good thing going here and I definitely want to be a part of that.”

Our Director of Online Marketing, Wayne Barker, said: “We were over the moon to be able to have Amy join the team. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in the day to day running of e-commerce businesses and the challenges that they bring. In addition to that, she has a keen interest in many aspects of the digital marketing world. Layer on top of that a great writing style and a strong work ethic and we have a recipe for success. We are looking forward to being able to bring all her skills together in one varied role.
