Boom Online Marketing are delighted to announce the latest addition to their client roster, footwear retailer Shoe Zone.
Having undertaken a thorough multi-stage pitch process, Shoe Zone decided to enlist Boom to deliver search engine optimisation for their growing e-commerce site. With 535 stores and annual revenue of c. £170m, Shoe Zone are a significant player in the footwear sector, a fact underlined by the listing of the company on the AIM stock market in May 2014.
Head of E-Commerce at Shoe Zone, Andrew Council, said “As part of our ongoing investment in e-commerce we need to drive our website sales, keep the site current and search friendly. Boom were the logical choice to take us to the next level with their in-house design expertise and the same Just Do It attitude as Shoe Zone.”
Boom’s approach will encompass working on technical SEO with Shoe Zone’s in-house development team, expanding the keyword-focused content of the site in partnership with Shoe Zone’s marketing department, and increasing the depth and quality of links to the site through creative content marketing.
